Generous staff member Davinia Cain was behind the thoughtful gesture, placing 30 Easter eggs on customer’s cars in an effort to make them smile as they left the store on Saturday, April 3.
Davina, who is the community champion at Morrisons Seaburn, also left a note with the eggs which said: “Love and kindness are never wasted.
“They always make a difference.

And customers were delighted with the surprise, with one even going on to say they would pass it on to an elderly neighbour in an effort to spread the joy.
Davina said: “I put 30 Easter eggs on the customer’s cars as part of our random acts of kindness to the local community.
"I decided to do it as part of my Easter activities.
“The customers who I saw take the eggs off their cars had big smiles on their faces and one said she was going to pass it on to an elderly neighbour.

In February this year Davina placed chocolate on the cars in an effort to mark Random Acts of Kindness Day by ‘making someone smile.’
The store has also previously contributed towards the community during the pandemic with five trolleys full of gifts being donated to hard-working NHS staff at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
