South Tyneside dance teacher opens new studio that could help people with depression

Classes in street dance are already being run from the venue in Salem Street, however, the pair want the place to be much more.

Natalie said: “It’s one thing having a space where you can run your dance school, but to have your own studio is something else.
“We don’t want it just to be a dance school, we want to be able to help out the community by creating a safe haven for people to come to.
“And possibly using dance to help with any issues they are facing like depression or obesity problems.

Meanwhile, auditions for new dance crews will take place on November 27.
They are on the lookout for youngsters for an already established crew, and those interested in being part of new crews from the age of four to 13. Those aged 16+ are wanted to create a performance crew.
