Newcastle United head coach Steve McClaren today gave an injury update ahead of tomorrow's home game.

Defensive duo Fabricio Coloccini (calf) and Chancel Mbemba (ankle) are not available.

But forward de Jong and midfielder Anita are ready to return from their respective eye and hamstring injuries.

Winger Townsend – who missed Wednesday night's defeat at Stoke with a hamstring problem – will be given a late fitness test.
