The 28-year-old striker, signed from Bournemouth this week, is ready to make his debut against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday, despite a lack of pre-season minutes.
“I’ve not really played any pre-season games as such,” said Wilson, who will take the No.13 shirt at the club. “With the way that the season ended, the lockdown and the short break, it’s probably the best-case scenario, really, in terms of getting back to fitness again.

Wilson has scored seven goals from eight appearances against West Ham.
