Elliot Anderson handed lead role as Neil Winskill names Newcastle United starting XI to face Aston Villa in FA Youth Cup
The exciting Magpies prospect, 18, has made both his Premier League and FA Cup debut for Steve Bruce’s side this term but faces a different challenge tonight.
Anderson scored a last-minute extra-time free-kick versus Watford in the last round to fire United into the quarter-final, which gets underway at St James’ Park at 7pm.

Speaking before the game, Anderson said: “Yeah I enjoy it (the captaincy).
"Being the captain and leading the team out is something you always want to do, no matter what age it is.”
