Former Newcastle United, Sunderland and Leeds United forward favourite to land League Two managerial post
Former Newcastle United, Sunderland and Leeds United forward Michael Bridges has been installed as the favourite for the vacant Carlisle United post.
Bridges, who currently lives in Australia, is rated as a 2/1 favourite to replace Steven Pressley, who was sacked by the Brunton Park board last week.
The 41-year-old had three spells at Carlisle in his career – one on loan in 2005, sealing a permanent move in 2006 before returning back on loan in 2008/09.
