The Premier League are putting the finishing touches to their owners and directors test which is likely to give the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, Reuben Brothers and PCP Capital Partners the green light to complete their £300million takeover.
When regulatory approval is granted all that will remain to complete the exchange is the transfer of the remainder of the funds, thought to be in the region of £283million, after Amanda Staveley’s PCP paid the initial £17million deposit.

Hide AdAnd Joselu, who left United for Alaves last summer, is hopeful the Magpies’ ‘incredible fans’ will get the reward they deserve.
“Newcastle is a very big club with incredible fans,” the Spaniard told publication AS.
“The stadium is spectacular and if this new project goes well it will be a blast.”
