Reports stated United want to recoup £20million for Gayle, who has started just one game for United this season.
As well as that, United are reportedly wanting a loan fee, to take the player in January, as well as an obligatory buy clause at the end. Any team wanting to loan Gayle would also have to pick up a substantial percentage of his £50,000-per-week-plus wages.
