After an awful run of luck on the injury front, things appear to be looking up for the Magpies ahead of Molineux. Skipper Jamaal Lascelles and creative spark Allan Saint-Maximin are the stand out returnees, if they get through the final sessions of the week.
Here we take a look at the starting XI Steve Bruce could pick this weekend.
1. Ciaran Clark - centre-half
The Republic of Ireland international has been as missed as skipper Jamaal Lascelles. A rock when he plays, the centre-half never lets United down. Passed fit this week after a month out with a calf issue. Photo: Catherine Ivill
2. Jamaal Lascelles - centre-half
People were unsure if he'd be missed when he sat got injured at Bournemouth, but his leadership from the back has been evident in his absence. A massive loss. Would be a massive boost, if fully fit. Unlikely to come back on the bench - if he's fit, he will play. Photo: Ian MacNicol
3. DeAndre Yedlin - right-back
The USA international returned from injury last weekend and was one of the better performers, as a right wing-back at Rochdale. With Javier Manquillo OUT, expect the ex-Spurs & Sunderland man to continue in that role. Photo: Clive Brunskill
4. Miguel Almiron - central midfield
An absolute revelation since moving into the centre of the park in a three. Two goals in the last few weeks has taken the metaphorical monkey off the Paraguayan's back. Photo: Laurence Griffiths
