That’s the verdict of Steve Bruce ahead of tonight’s Carabao Cup quarter-final against Brentford.
Dummett made his first competitive first-team appearance for the club in more than 11 months in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Fulham. The defender had suffered a hamstring injury against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on January 11.

“He's done remarkably well. He's lived right, he's done everything he possibly can to come and play, and you can see after being out for nearly enough a year his performance was very, very good. He didn't let us down at all.”
