The 21-year-old moved to Tyneside on the final day of the January transfer window and did not take long to settle after scoring on his debut in the 3-2 win over Southampton.
Willock had started every game following his arrival – seven in succession – but has dropped out of Steve Bruce’s starting XI for the previous three matches.

His key contributions have increased calls for Willock to be snapped up either on a permanent basis or brought back on loan again next season.
And according to Football Insider, the former England under-21s international has expressed an interest in returning for the long-term.
His asking price is rumoured to stand at around £20million, a figure could price United out of a deal. However, there is no confirmation to say that figure is true.

Willock supposedly doubts he’ll get regular game time at the Emirates, believing his future could depend on whether or not the Gunners sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid this summer.
