Sunderland defender will be assessed after suffering shoulder injury, reveals Phil Parkinson
Tom Flanagan will be assessed after suffering a shoulder injury in the 4-0 demolition of promotion rivals Wycombe Wanderers.
Joel Lynch came on at half-time to slot in the back three and won praise from Phil Parkinson.
On Flanagan, Parkinson said: “I’m not sure how bad it is, he just popped his shoulder a little bit. It was a shame, he was playing well. That happens.
“It was great to have Lynchy to come on, he did well with the physicality of Akinfenwa.”
