Pop-up event Salt Market Social will run for the first time from Friday, August 14, to Sunday, August 16, with bookings now open.
Based in the former Cosalt Factory on Liddell Street on the North Shields Fish Quay, it is less than 10 minutes walk from the Shields Ferry landing.

The bar will feature craft beers from North East breweries including Wylam, Errant, Northern Alchemy and Allendale, while Flash House Brewing Co will serve house beers, with cask ales, locally-produced spirits, wines and ciders also on the list.
With its launch delayed by the coronavirus, its bosses say the Salt Market Social “will now be one of the most socially distant venues in the region” with a host of measures to keep people safe, including table service.
Space will be available on the day, but booking for a 90-minute table slot is advised.

"There’ll be something for everyone – great local street food, drinks from North East breweries and distilleries, and a good music vibe.”
Co-founder Jim Mawdsley added: “After the last few months we all need something to look forward to, and we’ve worked hard to make the space as exciting and safe as possible.”
Its running times will be from 5pm to 11pm on the Friday, noon to 11pm on Saturday, and noon to 6pm on Sunday, with bookings also being taken for the August Bank Holiday weekend.
