On Sunday, November 24, it was announced that comedian Chris and his professional dance partner Karen Hauer had survived another week of the BBC One series after they wowed the judges and the viewers at home.

This week, he scored 31 points out of 40 for his performance of the more serious dance, Paso Doble, in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

In a behind the scenes clip from the main show Chris said: “I didn’t think I’d make it here” and claimed he was “in shock” after receiving high scores from the judges.

The public votes were added to the existing scores and before the results were announced, Motsi Mabuse said Chris was “leaving his soul on the dance floor” in his performance.

Once again, they managed to hold their place in the competition.

It was YouTube star, Saffron Barker and her dance partner AJ Pritchard who were unanimously voted off by the judges after they battled against Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden in the dance-off.

Saffron said: "It's been amazing. I'd like to thank AJ so much, when I look at what I was like on week one I was so embarrassed and shy.”

Chris, like Saffron, also a non-dancer before the show, will dance again for your votes.
