Geordie Shore star celebrates as her family open new South Shields restaurant Bun Bun - here's what's on the menu
Sophie Kasaei celebrated with family and friends at the opening of her family’s new South Shields restaurant.
Well known for owning a collection of Mambo’s restaurants, the Geordie Shore star’s family celebrated the launch of their new restaurant Bun Bun on Monday, June 7.
And the restaurant – which has a selection of pizzas, burgers, gyros and even chicken parmos on the menu – is now open to customers.
The St Hilda Street eatery welcome its first diners at the soft opening on Monday and Sophie, who spent the evening celebrating with relatives and friends like Love Island star Rebecca Gormley, shared some of the first pictures from inside the new restaurant.

The white and neon pink Bun Bun sign lights up the outside of the restaurant and the theme carries on inside with drop lighting and foliage on the stand-out staircase, neon quotes draped on the walls and stunning light features hanging from the ceiling – as well as a beautiful water feature wall as you enter.
Viewers were able to catch the first glimpse of the food which is now on offer at Bun Bun including halloumi fries, fried chicken and impressive cocktails.
Since announcing the opening last night, Bun Bun has shared it’s menu online which they say offers a ‘taste of the Mediterranean’.
The website says: “From our enticing Italian pizzas to our signature Greek gyros – we even have a taste of Teesside with our Chicken Parmesan.
“Our recipes are based on traditional family seasonings and techniques – there’s something for everyone!”
