Sunderland's Debenhams store to close within days as new owners urge shoppers to seek out 'unmissable discounts'

Hide AdThe chain collapsed at the end of last year, with the closure stores confirmed after Boohoo agreed to only buy its website and brand in a £55 million rescue deal.


It has said shoppers will find “unmissable discounts”, including up to 80% off fashion and home and at least 50% off everything across the store, including beauty and fragrance, with the discounts in force as it clears its stock.
A spokesperson added: “We are now heading into the final days of our closing down sale and this is the very last chance for our customers to take advantage of some incredible deals.

Also listed to close on Friday, May 8, is its Middlesbrough shop, while its Newcastle base is listed to close on Saturday, May 15.
