Cream Curls, which opened its flagship store on Ocean Road in 2018, has gone down a treat in the area and is now delivering desserts straight to South Shields front doors.

Famous for its signature dish, ice cream rolls - garnished with almost any topping you can imagine and made fresh in front of customers’ eyes – the parlour also offers a wide range of sundaes, cakes, waffles and bubble cones.

Earlier this week they announced they would be increasing their delivery radius to within seven miles of the Ocean Road branch and are now looking for local residents to fill new delivery driver positions.

“We have expanded as the demand is so high and have had to advertise for more drivers,” said business development manager, Masood Mohammed.

“We have only started delivering in the last three months but we have been surprised by the take up of it.”
