These are the eight areas in South Tyneside which have recorded the highest percentage of new Covid-19 cases in the seven-days leading up to Thursday, November 5, compared to the week before.
There are just two areas in South Tyneside which have seen a fall in the number of cases.
Official figures also show the case rate which takes into account the number of people living in each area compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only
1. Hart (East)

2. Boldon Colliery
