“Following government advice, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all events at Mariners Park until at least Tuesday, April 14.

“Anyone who has booked and/or paid for an event is asked for patience and support.

“We will look to rearrange all currently scheduled events when it is safe to do so and your booking will continue to be valid for that event.

“Anyone looking to contact the club in the upcoming period is asked to send emails to [email protected] or call us on 0191 454 7800. We expect a high volume of calls and request patience, with emails the preferable form of contact.

“Those purchasing season tickets are advised that new season tickets will be ready to collect prior to next season. The collection date will be confirmed when we are able to do so.

“We pride ourselves on the progress the club has made over recent years, all of which has been delivered through supporters’ and sponsors’ support.

“Our club will get through this difficult period but your support is vital.

“Thank you for your continued backing and we hope you and your families stay safe in this uncertain period.”
