Nine pictures of past Relay for Life events in Jarrow as the countdown continues to its return

One of South Tyneside’s most loved events makes a return this weekend.

The wait for the return of Jarrow's Relay for Life event – after a two-year absence due to Covid – will be over on Saturday, July 16.

The 22-hour long relay, which is organised with the help of South Tyneside Council, will continue on Sunday (July 17), with more than 30 teams signed up for event and about £20,000 raised so far.
