'Some great memories' - Gazette readers share their first pint tales of South Tyneside pubs

We dug out 15 retro photographs of South Tyneside pubs to try and find out where you had your first drink.

From The Red Duster to The Bamburgh, there were plenty of places to whet your whistle with your tipple of choice.

And whether it was a pint of lager, a half a cider, a Martini and lemonade or just a fizzy orange, Gazette readers all had their own fond memories to share of trips out on the town.
