Operation School Safe came to Laygate Community School in 2009 and it looked like a fascinating occasion.
The Shields Gazette photographer was there as children got to wear police uniforms, have a go on the radio, and try on helmets.
There were loads of you having a go and it looked like you all loved the lesson with a difference.
