One of pictures, taken in March 1990, shows Class 8 of Harton Infants School with Jumbulance staff Bill Hughes and Paul Thorniley during a visit to the school which raised £500 towards the cost of the vehicle, used to take severely handicapped people on holiday.

Keeping with the transport subject, the Gazette photographer was at Whitburn Comprehensive School in December 1986 when pupil Sarah Shiel accepts the keys to a new minibus from deputy head Edward Brett.

Back in  March 1990,  Class 8 of Harton Infants School with Jumbulance staff Bill Hughes and Paul Thorniley during a visit to the school.  The school raised �500 towards the cost of the Jumbulance, used to take severley handicapped people on holiday.
