A champagne lifestyle remains on ice for a secret South Tyneside millionaire who struck it lucky on the Lottery last month.

The National Lottery is still searching for a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle winner from Friday, March 1, who is still to claim their prize.

The winning ticket was bought in the borough last month and has the winning selection of CGG941450.

The unwitting winner has until Wednesday, August 28, to grab the life-changing cash.

If no one comes forward before then, the prize money and accrued interest will go to National Lottery good causes.

A Lottery spokesman said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket holder and unite them with their winnings. This prize could make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old EuroMillions tickets or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding. Try the pockets of clothing, wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward.”

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call 0845 910 0000.
