As Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins gets set to wow the Sunderland crowd tonight at a concert in Herrington Country Park, here is what you need to know.

What time will Katherine start her set?

She will be on stage at 7.30pm, accompanied by The National Symphony Orchestra, and conducted by Anthony Inglis.

Gates will be open from 5:30pm tomorrow - are you going along?

Car parking will be available around the park, with a £5 charge per car applied.

Who else is performing tomorrow night?

The event organisers have advised that you bring your own chairs and a blanket if you would prefer to sit and watch the concert.

What about food and drink?

Refreshments will be available in the park, with food and drink stalls open throughout the concert, including a licensed bar. You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol in - but we’re sure a picnic would be fine.
