Appeal after biker suffers broken collar bone in crash near Tyne Tunnel

Around 6.17pm last Wednesday, Northumbria Police say they received a report that a grey BMW was involved in a collision with a motorcycle and a Volvo on the A19 northbound between Lindisfarne and the Tyne Tunnel.

A number of vehicles were in the area at the time of the incident as it was during the Wednesday evening rush hour.

Police added that they would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or any of the vehicles involved prior to the collision, as they may be able to help officers with their enquiries.
