Bishop of Jarrow honours Durham Diocese stalwart
A Durham Diocese stalwart has been honoured by the Bishop of Jarrow for his 25 years of service to the Diocese.
The Rt Revd Mark Bryant, Bishop of Jarrow, honoured former administrative secretary, Paul Stringer, at the recent Diocesan Synod held at Durham Johnson School on May 21.
Paul joined the Diocese after graduating from Nottingham University and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Secretary. He has carried out various roles for the Diocese over the years.
Bishop Mark Said: “Paul’s 25 years of service to Durham Diocese is a story of real commitment.
“Paul is in the very best sense of the word a ‘specialist in ecclesiastical law and practice.’
“We are very blessed indeed to have had Paul with us for the past quarter century.”
