Members of a South Tyneside gym ditched their clothes to show the results of their workout efforts – all in the name of charity.
A total of 18 brave men from Black Sheep Fitness Academy stripped to their underwear – using props to protect their modesty – to pose for a selection of photographs.
The images will form a 2016 calendar, which will be sold to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The fundraising venture is just one of a number of events and activities the gym has taken part in for a range of different charities.
Owner Lee Tiffin said: “We have done various events in the past to raise money for charity and this year we decided to do a calendar.
“When I first mentioned it and said when the shoot was going to be I didn’t think we would have many people turning up, but we had 18 of us altogether.
We try and help as many charities as we can and this time we have chosen the Teenage Cancer Trust.Lee Tiffin

The calendar is being promoted within the gym and on social media as well as on Virgin money’s giving page by visiting uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/studclub.
Each model – who are all members of the fitness academy – taking part has also been given 10 calendars to sell to friends and family.
Mr Tiffin added: “On the day we had help from Allan Stone, owner of Stoney’s barber shop in Laygate, who came along and cut everyone’s hair and made sure they looked their best for the photos.”
Black Sheep Academy is based at Unit 1A in Shaftsbury Avenue, South Shields, and offers boot camps, crossfit training, as well as metafit, Insanity workouts and personal training.
