Boldon firm has savings on tap after water market reform

Square One Utilities will be helping businesses shop around for the best deal when the market opens up in April.

Commercial manager Alison Thomson said: “I was in the industry when the gas and electricity markets deregulated and it provided a huge opportunity for businesses to save money on their bills – I think we will see the same thing with the water market.

“Although the deregulation date is almost 11 months away, we have already begun looking at our clients’ water expenditures, to put them in the perfect position to take advantage of the deregulation at the earliest possible opportunity.”
