A FAVOUR for a family member to shoot a video of a football match has turned a hobby into a business for one South Tyneside man.

Graham McCann has launched Mac-Set Media which provides companies the chance to have bespoke videos created to help promote their services or goods.

The venture was launched following Graham’s coverage of a football match which was put online, leading to companies asking if he could do videos for them.

Mr McCann from Hebburn said: “Since covering the football match two years ago, it has steadily progressed, so much so, that I decided to set up a business.

“Things have been going really well with a number of contracts with a wide range of companies.”

Mr McCann, who is a musician, has already worked with companies including Travelodge gym, Tanfield Railway, Sanderson Young and has provided estate agents with promotional videos of homes for sale for their websites.

To help small businesses, he is now launching a special £99 HD video offer for companies.

Mr McCann said: “Every company should have a video online as it adds a new dimension when it comes to promoting a company’s service or goods.

“I know from doing research this is something companies and even charities would love to have, but is a market many are out-priced from, which is why I am offering the £99 video package.

“Having a video captures a person’s attention, and by getting it out there on the large number of media and social networking sites it will reach a much wider audience.

“I know as someone who is running a small business how hard it can be, which is why I have decided to launch this special offer.”
