“We had a fabulous response by customers and members of the community who were all delighted to spend their time supporting such a fantastic cause.

“Whether it’s you and a few friends in the garden, a family tea party or even a strawberry bake sale at your work or school, this is a great excuse to get together, host a Strawberry Tea event and make a massive difference.”

Hannah Branch, community fundraising manager at Breast Cancer Care, said: “We’re delighted Asda colleagues and customers are supporting Breast Cancer Care and Strawberry Tea this summer.

“We’d love more people to gather friends and family to host their own afternoon tea. The funds raised through each and every strawberry tea enable Breast Cancer Care to continue to be there for anyone facing breast cancer, from day one.”
