The day has been made possible with cash from the Big Lottery Celebrate Fund.

Centre manager Joanna Tuck said: “Last year was quite a large event, but this year is even bigger. We are really trying to get as many people from the community involved in the day and we have lots planned.

“All the groups have been working really hard in preparation for the day to make this the best yet.”

During the fun day, carnival parade will take place led by community interest company The Creative Seed founded by husband and wife team Garner and Sandy Harris .

The couple have been working with families to create a range of colourful costumes and choreography, which will be showcased on the day.

The event will also give people the chance to find out more about the centre and what they have on offer, as well as give their views on what activities they’d like to see at the venue.

Joanna added: “This is the start of a new era for us as we are now known officially as Bilton Hall Community Trust and we are doing a lot more to reach out the community.

“We’d love for people to come along and find out more about the centre.”

Gates open 11am til 4pm.
