Cash raid on Protestant Conservative Club
Police are hunting a raider who snatched cash from a social club's till in Hebburn
The theft took place at the Hebburn Protestant Conservative Club in Station Road at 10.53am on Sunday. An offender gained entry to the club and grabbed at the till’s money before fleeing. Police are now appealing for anyone with information to get in touch. A police spokesman said: “An offender gained entry to the premises and grabbed at money in the till before making off. “We are carrying out inquires in the area.”
