CCTV image released after criminal damage in South Shields McDonalds

Police investigating criminal damage in South Tyneside have released an image of a man they would like to trace.

The damage happened around 11.34am on Monday, September 5, in McDonalds in King Street in South Shields.

A security pad was pulled from the wall.

Officers are keen to speak to the man pictured as it's thought he was in the restaurant at the time and may be able to help with enquiries.
