Charity shop flasher: Children's Society appeals for information after '˜disturbing' incident

Police are continuing to hunt a pervert who exposed himself in a South Tyneside charity shop.

The man entered the Children’ Society shop in Prince Edward Road, South Shields, at 9.15am on Wednesday.

 He then exposed himself but left when he was challenged by staff.

 He is described as early 20s, approximately 5ft 8 inches tall, with curly hair and a beard. He was wearing a grey hooded top, checked shirt and blue jeans.

 A spokesman for the Children’s Society said: “We are working with the police to identify this man and urge anyone with further information about this disturbing incident to contact the police.

“We clearly hope this individual will be found soon.”
