Charity fundraising champ Colin Burgin-Plews will be donning a different type of dress for Halloween.
The 6ft 6ins dad is normally seen in a princess-style pink dress for his fundraising, but he will be donning a gothic-style number for the Halloween Laffalang in South Shields this weekend.
Colin, 47, from Harton in South Shields, raises cash for Breast Cancer Now.
Supported by his wife Cath and son Ollie, he has raised more than £11,500 for the charity in the past two years, with £1,000 coming from post-show Laffalang collections.
Colin and supporters of Breast Cancer Now will be collecting after the two Halloween Laffalang shows at the Westovian Theatre in Ocean Road on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
He said: “The Laffalang is great fun. It’s non-stop laughter and we always get a good collection afterwards - it’s a lot easier than running the Great North Run, which I did in September!
“I hope Laffalang attendees think about coming along in Halloween costumes to add to the party atmosphere.”
Tickets for the Halloween Laffalang cost £11 from the visitor centre in Haven Point, South Shields, or via the box office on (0191) 4247788.
