Compassion is needed

I totally agree with Ede Wood's letter regarding the young gentleman fined £100 for a breach of parking regulations at South Tyneside Hospital.

There does indeed seem to be no compassion or flexibility, irrespective of the circumstances in which this young man found himself.

He must have been very anxious and afraid experiencing the symptoms of a ‘heart attack’.

I find it difficult to understand why South Tyneside District Hospital continue to use Parking Eye because of its past record and its total lack of compassion and in my opinion absolute greed,

As Ede Wood states, why not adopt a much fairer system, like the one at Durham Hospital?

Please show some compassion and give ‘Parking Eye’ the thumbs down.

I wish the young man in question success in his protest, bless him.
