A limited number of plots are available to hire at the extravaganza, which forms part of the anual South Tyneside Festival, with hosts at South Tyneside Council eager to hear from community organisations and charities keen to raise funds and awareness.
The event takes place from 12.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday, June 25 and is expected to attract hundreds of visitors with an afternoon of free family entertainment including live music, dance, circus skills and fairground rides to enjoy.
Councillor Alan Kerr, deputy leader of South Tyneside Council with responsibility for culture and leisure, said: “We hope to see a wide variety of charities and community groups coming together to help us make this year’s Summer Charity Fayre a real success.
“There will be something for all ages to enjoy, making it a lovely afternoon out for the whole family.”
Those interested in setting up a stall are asked to apply ahead of the closing date on Friday, May 27.
