Airsoft guns and swords stolen from property

Police are appealing for information after imitation guns and two swords were stolen during a burglary.

The burglary happened between 12pm, on Friday, August 7, and 12pm on Saturday, August 8.

Thieves gained entry to the address on Aln Street, Hebburn, and made off with the six black imitation firearms - used for ‘Airsoft’, a similar game to paintballing - plus two martial arts swords.

Inquiries into the burglary are underway and police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with information.

Anyone who may know of the stolen property’s whereabouts or who may have been offered such specialist items for sale should come forward.
