Court Round-up: Cosmetics theft from Superdrug and driving while disqualified

The following people have been dealt with at South Tyneside Magistrates Court:

Lindsay Marshall, 38, of Beach Road, South Shields, was given a 12-month conditional discharge for stealing cosmetics valued at £289.72 from Superdrug in South Shields, on September 29.

She was also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £180 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Ashley Clayton, 20, from Lincoln Road, South Shields was ordered to complete a three-day re-engagement programme after breaching a community order by failing to turn up for unpaid work on September 28.

Dehrun Ahmet, 32, of Whitehead Street, South Shields, was given a 12- month driving ban and a 12-month conditional discharge for an offence of driving a motor vehicle while disqualified in South Tyneside on Wednesday, August 5.

He was also ordered to pay a criminal courts charge of £150, prosecution costs of £85 and a £15 victim surcharge.

Anthony Richardson, 57, of Hedgeley Road, Hebburn, was given an absolute discharge for an offence of making use of a public electronic communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety on Thursday, October 22.
