Dale Irving, 23, of St Pauls Road, Jarrow, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a blue Ford Fiesta with excess alcohol, on March 11.

He was fined £233 and was told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and costs of £85. He was disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 28 days.

Sergejs Sceglovs, 41, of Dean Road, South Shields, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Vectra on Follingsby Lane, Gateshead, with excess alcohol and without third-party insurance, on March 12.

He was sentenced to a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work. He was also told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and costs of £85.

He was disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 25 months.

Sophie Nixon, 20, of Ruby Terrace, Boldon, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Vectra on the A6136 Layburn Road, at Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, on September 2, 2017, at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour.

She was fined £70 and was also told to pay a government surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and prosecution costs of £85.

Her driving record was endorsed with 3 penalty points.

Chris Dean Wilson, 29, of Russell Avenue, South Shields, was found guilty in absence, of damaging a window belonging to Northumbria Police Authority on November 12, 2017.

He was told to pay compensation of £200, a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and costs of £270.

Alex James Eades, 35, of Coleridge Place, Wigan, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood when suspected of having driven a vehicle in South Shields on March 9, 2018.

He was fined £288 and was told to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and costs of £85.

He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for one year.
