Detectives look to speak to man after car and bank cards stolen from Hebburn home

Detectives investigating the burglary, which took place on Friday, January 3, have now released an image of a man they would like to trace.

The incident took place at an address on Hollyhock Gardens.

It is reported that the occupant found the door to their property wide open when they woke up, with a number of items – including the black VW car and bank cards – missing.

The break-in happened between 9.15pm on evening of Thursday, January 2 and the time it was reported the next morning – January 3.

He was in a Pallion petrol station at the same time as one of the stolen bank cards was used and could have vital information.

The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to call 101 quoting reference 143 030120 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
