Police are appealing for witnesses after a digital camera and a wooden instrument were stolen from a car parked in Whitburn.
Between 1am and 6.30am on Monday, April 27, a number of items including a digital Canon camera and a mandolin were stolen from inside a car parked in Adolphus Street.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to get in touch to help with inquiries.
The appeal comes during Northumbria Police’s Operation Soundwave, aimed at tackling opportunist thieves and burglars across the force and promoting crime prevention advice.
