Drunk and disorderly, speeding and breaching a community order: The latest defendants to appear before magistrates

The following cases were heard at Sunderland and South Tyneside Magistrates’ Courts:

David John Campbell, 25, of Westbury Street, Sunderland, admitted breaching a community order. He was given a rehabilitation order and told to pay costs of £50.

Edward Joseph Patrick Burns, 30, of no fixed abode, admitted being drunk and disorderly in public in East Boldon and was given an absolute discharge.

Alan Waters, 64, of Durham Road, Houghton, was fined £750 after he pleaded guilty to failing to provide the police with driver information. He was also told to pay a £75 surcharge, £75 costs and given six penalty points on his licence.

Lee Kevin Nelson, 38, of Bingley Street, Sunderland, pleaded guilty to speeding and was fined £80, given four penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Peter Wallace, 41, of Dawdon Crescent, Seaham, admitted speeding and was fined £215, he was also ordered to pay £85 costs, a £30 surcharge and given three penalty points.

Emma Wilkinson, 31, of Queensway, Houghton, was fined £180 after she admitted failing to give the police driver information. She was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge and was given six penalty points.
