Hunt continues for knife-point raider who robbed South Shields shop

The hunt continues for a robber who threatened a shopworker with a knife as they stole cash.

Northumbria Police has said inquiries are ongoing after the raid on Costcutter in Dickens Avenue, Biddick Hall, South Shields, on Saturday, April 25, at 3.23pm.

A man entered the shop, also known as Carter's, and threatened a worker as they stole money from the till and safe.
