Police have vowed they will not stop until they find the killers of a South Tyneside takeaway boss.
Tomorrow will be two months since Tipu Sultan, 32, was killed almost instantly after being shot from close range at the rear of the Herbs & Spice Kitchen takeaway in Lake Avenue in South Shields, on the evening of Tuesday, April 7.

Two men on a motorbike were seen driving into the rear lane in Lake Avenue just before the shooting and seen driving away immediately after.
Officers believe that these two men were responsible for the murder of the father-of-two, who lived in Millfield, Sunderland.
A reconstruction of the murder was aired on BBC One’s Crimewatch programme last month.
Detective Chief Inspector John Bent appeared live in the studio to appeal for information .
Afterwards a team of Northumbria Police detectives remained in the studio to take calls from the public.
Det Chief Insp Bent said: “Our inquiries are ongoing into the murder of Tipu Sultan.
“We have a team of detectives working on the investigation and we will not stop until we find those responsible for his murder.
“We are continuing to follow up leads and act on information that has come into us and we would still appeal for anyone with any information at all to contact us.
“Our thoughts continue to be with the friends and family of Tipu and if anyone has any information, I’d ask that they contact police,”
