Photos released by police as they try to trace people in South Tyneside crime inquiries

Detectives have appealed for help to find these people as they try to solve a host of thefts, damage and an assault.

Officers want to speak to them in relation to a number of crimes in the South Tyneside area.

They were in the areas at the time of the incidents and police believe they may be able to help with inquiries.

•Image 1 - Theft from Morrisons in Ocean Road, South Shields, on Saturday, February 7, at 4.40pm.

•Image 2 - Theft from Asda in North Road, Boldon, on Saturday, February 7, at 4.40pm.

•Image 3 - Criminal damage at McDonald’s, King Street, South Shields, on Bank Holiday Monday, April 6, at 2.10am.

•Image 4 - Theft of a bike from Londis in Fielding Court, South Shields, on Saturday, April 4, ay 6.40pm.

•Image 5 - Damage to a car at Yankees in Ocean Road, South Shields, at 8.25pm on Friday, May 22.

•Image 6 - Criminal damage at McDonald’s in Boldon, on Thursday, April 16, at 8.18pm.

•Image 7 - Theft from B&Q in Secretan Way, South Shields, at 1.45pm.

•Image 8 - Common assault at Tyne Dock Metro on Friday, May 29, ay 8pm.

Anyone who recognises anyone in the images is asked to contact police in South Shields on 101 ext 69191.
