Plea over ‘distinctive’ stolen bike


SOUTH Tynesiders have ben asked to keep their eyes peeled for a distinctive bike which was stolen from a pub car park.

The theft happened between 6.30pm and 7.10pm, on Saturday, from behind the Red Hackle, on the Scotch Estate, Jarrow.

The bike is an orange X-Rated Dekka BMX bike with a white seat and handlebars and black stunt pegs.

Anyone who recognises the bike from its description and knows of its whereabouts is asked to contact police.
