Police searching for coffee thief

POLICE have released CCTV images of someone they wish to trace after coffee was stolen from a South Tyneside store.

The theft happened at 2pm, on Sunday, January 4, at Farmfoods, St James Mall, in Hebburn.

The offender entered the store and concealed two jars of coffee in his jacket before leaving.

Police are keen to trace the man pictured as he may be able to assist with inquiries.

Anyone who recognises the man or who may have witnessed the theft are asked to come forward.
