Mark Darren Seff, 43, of Pine Avenue, South Shields, was locked up for more than four months after a court decided the offence was “so serious because the defendant has a flagrant disregard for court orders”.

Seff admitted breaching a 2016 restraining order without reasonable excuse on February 10 this year when he appeared before town magistrates the following day.
